A delicious little idea that caught fire.

A month before the pandemic hit, we had plans to introduce a gelato bar at our event venue, Studio52 DC. We developed our flavors and secured a manufacturer then the world as we know it ended.
Our business was shut down. We rescheduled months of events without a foreseeable re-opening date.
With so much financial uncertainty and a one year old, we made the decision to sell the gelato by itself to see how it would go. To my surprise, we sold out 3 times within the first 3 weeks. We took this as a sign that we were on to something and made 2 big changes. We hired an award-winning gelato chef to revamp all of our flavors and we changed our name to Niko's Spiked Gelato. Now Niko’s Spiked Gelato is made from high quality, fresh ingredients, and has 5% alcohol in each pint.
